Flexible placements are available for speech-language pathologists interested in direct intervention, case management, or using sign language proficiency (for select roles).

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Texas
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience working in school settings with elementary, middle, or high school students
  • Proficiency in sign language for select split-campus positions (middle and high school)
  • Familiarity with IEP development and speech/language evaluations is a plus
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy for assigned elementary or high school caseloads, supported by cohesive SLP teams
  • Serve in case management roles for multiple elementary campuses, focusing on IEP completion and evaluations
  • (Sign language role only) Deliver speech-language services and collaborate with staff at both middle and high schools, utilizing conversational sign language skills
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
  • Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other related service professionals
