Speech Language Pathology Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to help a school district in Kansas City, MO. Position Details

Responsibilities
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
- Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising SLP.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate service logs.
- Prepare therapy materials and activities tailored to student goals.
- Support students with articulation, language, fluency, voice, social communication, and AAC needs as directed.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and school personnel to support student success.
- Assist with screenings, observations, and data collection as permitted by state regulations.
- Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines, including IEP documentation and confidentiality requirements.
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field.
- Current SLPA license/certification as required by the state.
