A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist with their CCC, ready to support elementary students with high needs near Kansas City. This full-time, onsite contract position runs from April 20th to May 22nd, 2026, with a continued assignment for Extended School Year (ESY) services from June 1st to June 30th (with the Juneteenth holiday off). You’ll be part of a dedicated educational community, making a positive impact on students’ communication and learning outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) license required
- Experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
- Background working with elementary-age students, especially those with high needs
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and related service providers
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to elementary students following individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Assess, diagnose, and write reports on students’ speech, language, and communication disorders
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based planning
- Provide ongoing documentation of progress and maintain compliance with district and state guidelines
- Support communication goals both in and out of the classroom
- Travel onsite for direct student therapy and collaboration—this role is exclusively in-person
