A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Liberty, MO, supporting an elementary caseload of students with high needs. This contract role begins with a leave coverage starting between May 6 and May 13 and extends through the end of the school year on May 22. Following a brief break, the position continues for Extended School Year (ESY) services from June 1–30, excluding June 19 for the holiday. The candidate will also provide coverage at the start of the 2026–27 school year in August, with scheduling details to be finalized later.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech and language pathology services to elementary students with diverse and high needs
- Collaborating with educators and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conducting evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress monitoring in compliance with school district guidelines
- Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting for student progress
- Providing services onsite during the school hours, ensuring consistent presence and engagement
Qualifications and experience sought:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Prior experience working within school settings with elementary-aged students
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to manage a full-time caseload and meet documentation requirements efficiently

Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week onsite
