In this role, you’ll work Monday through Friday following the school’s schedule, engaging directly with students to conduct assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and provide individualized and group therapy. Collaboration with teachers, counselors, and families is essential to ensure every child receives personalized support.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows will be considered
- Experience with school-aged children or in a school-based setting is valued
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Comfort working in-person as a vital member of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students with varied needs
- Evaluate students and participate in eligibility determination and IEP meetings
- Document progress and maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Consult with families and staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom and daily routines
- Adapt therapy methods to fit each student’s individual needs
