Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, although CFYs considered
- Experience working with children in a school or educational setting strongly valued
- Solid understanding of IEP processes, case documentation, and progress tracking
- Excellent interpersonal abilities for collaboration with educators and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in alignment with students’ IEP goals
- Document student progress, evaluate needs, and participate actively in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student success
- Provide consultation and support to staff regarding speech and language development
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to all school policies and regulatory requirements
