A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for a school contract from December 1 to May 22. This onsite role supports students at a high school campus in Arcadia, Louisiana.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) focused on speech and language goals
- Provide direct speech therapy services to students with communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to monitor progress and adjust intervention strategies accordingly
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
Qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Louisiana SLP licensure or willingness to obtain licensure for travel assignments
- Experience working as an SLP in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a full caseload effectively with attention to individualized student needs
Location: Arcadia, Louisiana (Bienville Parish area)
