Part-Time School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school team for the 2026–2027 school year. This is an onsite, part-time opportunity (21 hours per week) working with a diverse and rewarding student population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students across Pre-K through 8th grade
- Manage a cross-categorical pull-out caseload
- Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and track student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively
