Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- State licensure or eligibility to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Prior experience working with pediatric populations, especially in school or healthcare environments
- Clinical expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for a range of speech and language disorders
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in alignment with state and federal requirements
- Deliver direct therapy and intervention services within classroom, small group, or individual settings
- Offer consultative guidance to teachers, staff, and families on speech and language strategies to support student success
- Maintain timely and thorough documentation, progress reporting, and compliance with all school protocols
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing expertise to shared student goals
