Speech and Language Pathologist in Chicago, IL

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current Illinois SLP licensure (or ability to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY)
- Bilingual fluency, with preference for Spanish/English
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged students in schools or similar settings
- Ability to collaborate with educators, support staff, and families
- Strong organizational and communication skills
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver engaging, data-driven speech and language therapy to preschool students
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with teachers and specialists to support student success in the classroom
- Communicate regularly with families about student progress and strategies for support
This contract position features a consistent Monday-Friday schedule, 8:15am–3:45pm, aligning with regular school hours and leaving your evenings free for personal time or professional growth.
