We’re seeking an experienced, Illinois-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to provide direct on-site services. The role is part-time, working three days per week, supporting a caseload of approximately 35 high school students. Immediate start is available, with the contract running through May 27th—perfect for those seeking a focused, school-year position.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Active and valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with appropriate endorsements
- Prior experience serving high school students in a school setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and collaboration skills
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language services to high school students as outlined in IEPs
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders, focusing primarily on students with specific learning disabilities
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support each student’s educational goals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and district requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, student progress reviews, and campus-based teams
