A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year in Joliet, IL. This role involves working with self-contained autism classrooms serving students from early childhood through grade 5. Key Qualifications:
- State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Valid Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) Professional Educator License
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in Speech Language Pathology
- Experience in pediatric and school-based speech-language pathology preferred
- Ability to collaborate with educators and healthcare professionals in a school environment
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders
- Deliver direct therapy to students in self-contained autism classrooms (E.C. through grade 5)
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support communication goals and educational plans
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to speech-language services in schools
Location and Schedule:
- Position located in Joliet, Illinois
- Full time, 35 hours per week
- Contract role for the 2025-2026 academic year
Compensation and Benefits:
- SLP with CCC: $55-$60 per hour
- SLP-CFY: $38-$40 per hour
- Health, dental, and vision insurance provided
