School Speech Language Pathologist - Jersey City, New Jersey
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity this fall, supporting elementary students in a vibrant school setting just outside Jersey City, NJ. Three full-time openings are available for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to fill maternity leave absences during the fall semester, starting in September and continuing for 12 weeks. You’ll work onsite, providing crucial services to diverse K-5 populations, including a focus on students with autism and preschool-aged learners.
You’ll be placed at one of two elementary schools or a third location to be determined, working 35+ hours each week in an energetic and collaborative educational environment. These contract roles are ideal for experienced CCC-SLPs, though Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome with their own external supervision, as in-district supervision is not available. SLPAs are not being considered for these positions.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Must hold an active NJ Speech-Language Pathologist License
- Valid NJ Speech-Language Specialist (SLS) Certification required
- Experience with elementary populations and autism spectrum disorder is highly valued
- Willingness to work onsite at assigned school
- Strong communication skills and collaborative spirit
- CCC preferred; Clinical Fellows accepted with external supervision arranged by the candidate
Role Highlights:
