Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Valid or eligible state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Previous experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaborative skills
  • Familiarity with IEP development and implementation

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders across K–12 grade levels
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational staff and families
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, interventions, and services
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide professional input on speech/language needs
  • Offer support, strategies, and resources to educators and caretakers to foster student success
  • Stay current with best practices and state/federal guidelines in school-based speech language services
