Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active SLP licensure in Texas
- Previous school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Ability to supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Adaptability and comfort working with diverse student populations
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students in 1-2 classrooms.
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to maximize student outcomes.
- Provide SLPA supervision, guidance, and support as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to the IEP process.
- Utilize evidence-based practices to enhance student participation and progress.
- Attend meetings and communicate progress with school teams.
