Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active or eligible state licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are also welcomed
- Experience in school-based settings or with pediatric populations is valued
- Skilled in individualized educational planning and collaborative consultation with education teams
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills for a caseload spanning K-12th grade
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based intervention for students in grades K-12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals in collaboration with teachers, support staff, and families
- Document progress, maintain student records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Offer consultation to classroom teachers for strategies supporting communication needs within the school environment
- Support and educate families regarding student progress, at-home strategies, and resources
- Stay current with best practices and continue professional development as part of a dedicated educational team
