Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Valid state licensure for SLP
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable
- Fluency in English and another language; bilingual communication skills are required
- Passion for working with diverse student populations of varying ages and abilities
Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
- Provide direct therapy, consultation, and support for students with speech or language impairments
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support classroom integration and progress
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, sessions, and outcomes
- Engage in regular team meetings and contribute to a positive school culture
