Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active SLP license (Clinical Fellowship Year and Certificate of Clinical Competence holders welcome!)
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Bilingual skills highly desirable
- Familiarity with conducting evaluations, delivering direct therapy, and participating in ARD meetings
- Ability to provide effective supervision and mentorship to SLP Assistants (SLPAs)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Passion for collaborative teamwork and inclusive education
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech therapy services to students per their individualized education programs
- Manage a diverse student caseload, tracking progress and maintaining thorough documentation
- Complete initial and ongoing assessments and evaluations
- Participate actively in ARD meetings and contribute to IEP planning and goal-setting
- Supervise and support Speech-Language Pathology Assistants to uphold quality standards
- Foster a positive and engaging learning environment for all students
