Key Qualifications:
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP
- Prior experience working with young children, ideally within PreK – 2nd grade settings
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and learning styles
Role Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech/language disorders
- Deliver therapy sessions tailored to each student’s IEP in individual and small group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress and ensure all services are aligned with educational goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the assessment and documentation process
- Provide guidance and education for school staff and parents on supporting students’ communication development
- Maintain accurate records and comply with state and federal regulations
