Step into a rewarding contract position serving elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist at a vibrant, student-focused school in the Jaffrey, NH area. With a manageable caseload of 40-45 students (shared between buildings), you'll provide essential communication support through a blend of one-on-one and small group sessions.
Your workday will run from 8am to 2:40pm, offering a healthy work-life balance while participating fully in school life. You’ll conduct evaluations, prepare thorough reports, attend vital meetings, and deliver direct therapies to help students reach their highest potential—all within a supportive team of educators and clinicians.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license for practice in New Hampshire
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Previous experience in school settings strongly preferred
- Proficient in completing evaluations, working with IEPs, and using evidence-based interventions
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary-aged students
- Provide individualized and group therapy targeting students’ unique needs
- Document progress, write evaluation reports, and maintain compliance with IEP paperwork
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and collaborate with school staff and families
- Foster positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
