As a school-based SLP, you’ll play a crucial role in fostering students’ language development and functional communication skills—empowering them both inside and outside the classroom.
Ideal candidates possess:
- A valid state license or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Active or pending ASHA CCCs (Clinical Certification) or strong CF candidates considered
- Prior experience working in school settings, with knowledge of IEP processes
- Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Compassion and enthusiasm for supporting students’ individual needs
Position Details:
Position 1
- Start as soon as possible and continue through the end of the current school year
- Serve elementary students in a full-time role, Monday through Friday
- Develop and implement therapy plans, participate in IEP meetings, and collaborate with teachers and families
Position 2
- Begin November 2023 and continue to the conclusion of the school year
- Focus on middle and high school students with a variety of speech and language needs
- Full-time, Monday through Friday, engaging students at transitional stages
