Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Active SLP license (will also consider Clinical Fellow Year candidates)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred but not required
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric speech therapy settings is highly valued
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with families and educational staff
- Commitment to evidence-based therapy practices
- Enthusiasm for working exclusively onsite with a stable, consistent student group
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide speech-language therapy services to children ages birth to preschool within a daycare setting
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and other professionals to optimize therapy implementation
- Document progress, maintain compliance with all relevant guidelines, and participate in IEP meetings
- Empower families through clear communication and recommendations for at-home support
