Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and develop individualized therapy plans
- Deliver direct therapy tailored to each student's unique needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers and school staff to implement appropriate accommodations and modifications
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to support goal setting
- Provide guidance and resources to parents and caregivers to enhance student outcomes
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Experience with school-aged children preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Familiarity with IEP processes and educational regulations
Location and Schedule:
- Position based in Ithaca, NY
- Travel assignment with scheduled school hours aligned to the academic calendar (September 2026 to June 2027)
