An exciting opportunity awaits for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) seeking a contract role for the full 2026/2027 school year in a supportive educational setting near Fairfield, CT. Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Connecticut SLP license required
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Prior experience within school-based settings preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to enhance speech and language development across the curriculum
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and prepare documentation for meetings and compliance purposes
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support planning
  • Provide support and resources for families regarding speech/language issues
