Qualifications & Skills:
- Active or eligibility for Texas SLP licensure (SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA)
- Experience in school settings or pediatric populations highly valued
- Comfortable working with K-12 age groups and adapting intervention plans accordingly
- Strong organizational and communication abilities, both written and verbal
- Passionate about helping students overcome communication challenges
- Ability to work in-person for the contracted school year
- Open to mentoring and learning within a supportive team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech-language, voice, fluency, and communication disorders in K-12 students
- Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and parents
- Maintain accurate and timely records for compliance and progress monitoring
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, sharing insights and progress
- Provide guidance, training, and support to teachers and families to maximize student success
- Engage in school initiatives to foster inclusive environments and positive student outcomes
