Desired Qualifications:
- Current, active Texas SLP license (required)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Professional fluency in both Spanish and English is essential
- Experience in a school-based setting, particularly with elementary-aged children
- Proficiency in conducting speech/language evaluations and developing individualized education program (IEP) goals
- Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills
- Experience with Head Start programs is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to a caseload of around 30 students
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and prepare detailed reports
- Develop and monitor IEP goals tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Collaborate closely with special education teams, teachers, administrators, and families
- Maintain thorough, accurate documentation and progress notes
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute expertise in bilingual service delivery
