Ideal Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold a valid SLP license in South Carolina
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, but strong clinical skills are welcome
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to inclusive and student-centered therapy
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and maintain compliance with IEPs
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions to students across various grade levels
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other specialists to ensure optimal student support
- Document and monitor progress toward therapy goals, ensuring all required records are accurate and up-to-date
- Participate in IEP meetings and related interdisciplinary team planning
