Speech Language Pathologist in Inglewood, CA

This opportunity is ideal for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with certification and experience in school settings. Serving students from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 8th grade, this contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on a diverse pediatric caseload within a supportive educational environment. Located in Inglewood, CA, this role starts as soon as possible and continues through the end of the current school year, with potential for extension into the next academic year.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) eligibility
- Experience working as a School-Based SLP
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development in children TK-8
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 50 students
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized speech and language therapy services to TK-8 students
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate, timely documentation and reports
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute professional recommendations
Work Schedule and Details:
- Five days per week, 35 hours total
- Contract assignment through June 3, 2026, with opportunity for renewal starting August 17, 2026
