A full-time, full school year Speech-Language Pathologist position is available in Indio, CA, for the 2026/2027 academic year. This onsite role is focused on working within a school setting, primarily supporting students with mild to moderate speech and language needs, along with some students who have severe needs and utilize AAC devices. The position has the potential to be itinerant, requiring flexibility to serve multiple sites.
Key responsibilities include providing speech-language evaluations, individualized therapy, and progress monitoring for a diverse student population. Familiarity with special education systems and documentation is important, with a preference for candidates experienced in school-based services and the CA Medicaid (Paradigm) system.
Qualifications and preferred experience:
- Current SLP license with Certificate of Clearance (COC) for California
- Credentials including CCC-SLP accepted; Contract open to Clinical Fellows (CF)
- Bilingual Spanish proficiency strongly preferred to support the local community
- Previous experience in schools and with SEIS documentation strongly preferred
- Ability to manage students using AAC devices
