Position Overview:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide full-time medical leave coverage for a preschool caseload from August 24, 2026 through October 3, 2026. This is an onsite-only position serving preschool students in a supportive school environment.
This is an excellent short-term opportunity for a dedicated speech-language professional who is passionate about supporting early childhood communication development while collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language evaluations, assessments, and therapy services appropriate to your credentials
Provide speech and language therapy services to a preschool caseload
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students' IEP goals
Maintain accurate documentation, therapy notes, and progress reports
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and related service providers to support student success
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions, as appropriate
Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
Provide consistent onsite coverage throughout the medical leave assignment
Qualifications:
Active Speech-Language Pathologist license required
Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
Experience working with preschool-aged students preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Passion for supporting early childhood communication development
