Embark on a collaborative and rewarding opportunity supporting students as a speech-language pathologist for the 2026–2027 school year in a friendly, team-focused educational environment near Indianapolis, IN. This contract position is part-time, with flexible scheduling across 3–4 days per week and standard 7-hour workdays. You’ll join to serve elementary and middle school students, partnering with another SLP to ensure a manageable caseload.
You’ll play a vital role helping students develop essential life and communication skills within both specialized and general education settings. There is the flexibility to structure your support based on your strengths and the evolving needs of students and faculty.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Relevant state licensure (or ability to obtain before start date)
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
- Comfortable working within both functional/life skills classrooms and traditional classroom models
- Collaborative approach to caseload management and service delivery
Role Highlights:
- Support a dynamic caseload of 70–75 students (with another SLP to share responsibilities)
- Deliver services in both center-based and inclusive classroom environments
- Help create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to optimize student progress
