Take the lead in supporting students' speech and language development at a welcoming school near Indianapolis, IN. This contract position requires an experienced or newly licensed SLP with CCCs to provide services to a diverse caseload of approximately 75 students, kindergarten through 8th grade—all in a single school setting. Begin as soon as you’re available, filling a full-time maternity leave from November through February, then transition to part-time hours (potentially 15–20 per week) continuing through May.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Indiana Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience with AAC management or strong interest in developing AAC expertise
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with students, families, and educational staff
- Open to licensed new graduates eager to make an impact
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and deliver speech and language therapy in both individual and group settings
- Serve as lead SLP-CCC, collaborating with other staff as needed
- Maintain regular communication with students’ families and educational staff to support student progress
- Develop and implement AAC strategies, provide education and support for AAC users within the school
- Ensure thorough documentation and caseload management
Position Details & Structure:
- Full-time, Monday–Friday, during the maternity leave (November–February)
- Part-time, flexible hours (15–20 per week, scheduling open for discussion) through May 19
- One school building—no travel between sites required
- Opportunity to provide some teletherapy, with on-site support in place
