A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Liberty, MO, supporting an elementary caseload of students with high needs. This contract position begins with coverage of a leave starting between May 6 and May 13, continuing through the end of the school year on May 22. Following a brief break, the role extends into the Extended School Year (ESY) program from June 1 to June 30 (noting a holiday on June 19). Additionally, the position includes coverage at the beginning of the 2026–27 school year in August, with exact scheduling pending district finalization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy to elementary students with significant needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and progress reports
- Participate in team meetings and IEP development as required
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification (SLP - CCC and/or School certification required)
- Experience working in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a caseload of students with varying and complex speech and language needs
- Commitment to onsite work full-time, 37.5 hours per week
