Assignments include placements at Wilde Lake High School (4 days/week, potential for 5), Forest Ridge Elementary (4 days/week, potential for 5), and Hammond Middle School (3 days/week). If you’re seeking a full-time schedule, assignments can be combined to reach 37.5 work hours weekly.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Maryland SLP License (required)
- CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Experience in school-based settings highly valued
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
- Ability to provide therapy and assessment both independently and as part of a team
- Dedication to student growth and creating inclusive learning environments
- Availability to work onsite at assigned schools
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for a diverse K-12 population
- Develop targeted treatment plans and provide direct therapy
- Collaborate with educators and parents to support student IEPs
- Document progress, complete evaluations, and participate in eligibility meetings
- Deliver services consistent with state and district guidelines
- Adapt intervention strategies to meet individual student needs
