Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid Maryland SLP license (required)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Previous experience in school settings is a plus
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Willingness to work onsite and travel between local school sites if needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech, language, and communication support to students
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver individualized and group therapy sessions
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support educational goals
- Maintain thorough and up-to-date documentation in compliance with district protocols
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
- Support students’ progress, using evidence-based interventions and strategies
School Assignments & Schedules:
- Wilde Lake High School: 4 days/week (with goal of 5 days/week onsite)
- Forest Ridge Elementary: 4 days/week (with goal of 5 days/week onsite)
- Hammond Middle School: 3 days/week
