Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Maryland SLP license (required)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Previous school-based experience is highly valued
- Strong communication, organization, and collaborative skills
- Ability to work effectively in multiple school settings
- Must be available for onsite assignments only
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students according to individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct evaluations, document progress, and contribute to multidisciplinary assessment teams
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to enhance student success
- Maintain accurate and timely records conforming to district and state guidelines
- Design and implement intervention strategies for a variety of communication needs
- Travel between multiple school buildings as assigned; availability to work onsite is essential
