Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid Maryland SLP license (required)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
  • Previous school-based experience is highly valued
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaborative skills
  • Ability to work effectively in multiple school settings
  • Must be available for onsite assignments only

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students according to individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct evaluations, document progress, and contribute to multidisciplinary assessment teams
  • Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to enhance student success
  • Maintain accurate and timely records conforming to district and state guidelines
  • Design and implement intervention strategies for a variety of communication needs
  • Travel between multiple school buildings as assigned; availability to work onsite is essential
