School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Hurlock, Maryland
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC), serving a diverse K-12 student population in a supportive educational environment near Hurlock, MD. This onsite position spans the 2026-2027 academic year, offering a fulfilling full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
Bring your expertise to a role focused on spot fill needs across multiple school sites. You will work with a range of students, including those in a self-contained high school classroom with moderate to severe needs, while also providing itinerant services across different campuses. Collaboration is at the heart of this school community, and you’ll have the support of a dedicated district team to help you make a real impact.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current and active SLP license in Maryland
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience working in Maryland schools preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to high standards of ethical and professional conduct
Role Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services according to student needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Travel between school sites within the district as required
