In this role, your primary focus is on make-up therapy only—there are no ARDs or evaluations, ensuring your time is spent directly with students who need your expertise the most. Qualifications:
- Current SLP-CCC and licensure to practice as an SLP in Texas
- Background check and district fingerprinting
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
- Commitment to full-time hours (37.5 per week, Monday-Friday per school calendar)
- Strong communication and organization skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide make-up therapy sessions for students in need
- Document student progress and communicate with educational staff as needed
- Collaborate with other SLPs and school team members
- Serve assigned schools as determined by district needs
