Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Texas licensure or eligibility to obtain it
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Previous experience in a school setting and with AAC devices desirable
- Familiarity with IEP development and procedures
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and diagnose communication, language, and swallowing disorders
- Design and implement tailored treatment plans for students
- Collaborate closely with caregivers, families, SLPAs, OTs, and PTs
- Track, monitor, and report student progress
- Ensure thorough and accurate documentation and records
