What you'll bring:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current CCC-SLP certification
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a school SLP
- Prior experience working in a school setting preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and case management skills
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with colleagues, students, and families
Role responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify student needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and IEP goals
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based interventions and document student progress
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement
- Provide consultation to teachers and participate in IEP meetings
- Maintain accurate, timely records in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Foster a positive, supportive environment that encourages student confidence and communication
This contract position requires approximately 18 hours per week onsite with a set schedule during weekdays. Expect to work with a diverse and manageable caseload in a welcoming middle school community.
