Pediatric SLP in Hopewell, VA
A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to provide services in a school setting. This role serves PreK-12th grade students across multiple schools, combining onsite and virtual (Voco) therapy options to meet diverse student needs.
Responsibilities include managing a caseload of 35-45 students, delivering both individual and group speech and language therapy services, collaborating with educational teams, and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines. The position supports students in three schools located on one campus, as well as one private school, offering a dynamic and varied work environment.
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Valid SLP license with CCC credential
- Experience with pediatric populations in school and/or healthcare settings
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and best practices
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Location: Hopewell, VA (onsite and virtual service delivery)
Schedule: 35 hours per week, ASAP through the end of the school year (EOSY)
