A full-time Speech Language Pathologist position is available supporting elementary, middle, and high school students within a public school setting in Hope Mills, NC. This contract role runs from August 13, 2025, through May 27, 2027, with an expected 37.5-hour workweek, Monday through Friday. The caseload includes a diverse group of students across multiple grade levels, providing opportunities to make a meaningful impact on student communication development.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active North Carolina Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license required; candidates with out-of-state licenses will be considered if they can obtain NC licensure by June or July.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
  • Experience working in school settings with varying student populations.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills for working alongside educators and families.
  • Willingness to work onsite only; virtual or hybrid arrangements are not available.
  • Open to candidates willing to travel for this contract opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation following school district and state guidelines.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings.

Location: Hope Mills, North Carolina – onsite role with no virtual or hybrid option.
