This onsite role welcomes applicants holding the SLP-CCC as well as Clinical Fellows (SLP-CF), offering a robust environment for professionals eager to impact young learners. The position is exclusively in-person (no teletherapy or SLPA support) and primarily based at a welcoming elementary school. Hours are anticipated to follow the academic schedule, with a typical workday from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, including a paid lunch.
What you’ll bring:
- Active Delaware SLP License or eligibility (please include license and resume for submission)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred; open to Clinical Fellows
- Experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is desirable
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Passion for supporting student growth and success in a diverse academic environment
Your primary responsibilities:
- Provide evaluations, direct therapy, and progress monitoring for students identified with speech/language needs
- Develop and execute IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Maintain detailed student documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Attend meetings, contribute to staff development, and take an active role in school-based initiatives
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet varied student needs and learning styles
