Ideal Experience & Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Illinois SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Skilled in pediatric communication disorders, school-based therapy, and healthcare settings
- Experience with teletherapy platforms and technology, or willingness to be trained
- Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills
- Passion for supporting students in achieving their communication potential
- SLPAs are not eligible at this time
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy, assessments, and individualized interventions for students across various grade levels
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with school and regulatory requirements
- Utilize in-person and teletherapy methods thoughtfully and effectively, based on student needs
- Offer mentorship and guidance for Clinical Fellows as appropriate
- Participate in school-related meetings, student progress reviews, and professional development sessions
