Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Moyock, NC
An exciting opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in a school setting near Moyock, NC, serving the Elizabeth City area for the 2020-21 school year. This full-time contract role involves managing a caseload of 50-60 students and offers a chance to make a meaningful impact on children's communication skills throughout the academic year.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Valid North Carolina state license and certification to practice as an SLP
- Eligibility for or possession of CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or currently in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience working in a school environment preferred
Location:
- Moyock, North Carolina (serving Elizabeth City area)
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in students
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs and educational goals
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal guidelines
