Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Georgia Speech Language Pathologist license and GaPSC Educator Certification (required)
- Experience working in school-based settings strongly preferred
- Competency in conducting evaluations, creating and managing IEPs, and implementing targeted treatment plans
- Excellent interpersonal communication and collaboration skills
- Strong documentation and organizational abilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students with diverse needs
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine student eligibility and service requirements
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in accordance with state and district guidelines
- Collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other service providers to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise for student planning
This role is available for candidates seeking onsite engagement, with some flexibility for teletherapy (VOCO) for highly qualified professionals. The caseload and school location will be assigned based on district needs.
