As an onsite Speech Language Pathologist, you’ll work full-time, Monday through Friday, throughout the academic year. You will play a critical role in helping students reach their full potential by delivering speech and language services, performing evaluations, and actively contributing to students’ educational planning.
Responsibilities include:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students, as assigned
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Provide direct speech-language interventions to meet students’ diverse needs
- Collaborate with educational teams and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, ensuring compliance with all district and state regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and related planning sessions
- Address the needs of a varied caseload as determined by the district
Qualifications you’ll bring:
- Active Georgia SLP License and GaPSC Educator Certification (confirmation required at the time of application)
- SLP-CCC credentials and previous experience in a school setting are highly preferred
- Strong skillset in school-based assessments, intervention planning, and writing IEPs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Reliable transportation for onsite work
- Availability to begin as soon as possible and commit through May 2027
