Qualifications and Experience

  • Current and valid SLP-CCC licensure
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • State certification or eligibility for certification
  • Experience working with elementary school-aged children is highly valued
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to perform assessments, develop IEPs, and provide direct therapy
  • Organizational skills to manage caseloads across multiple schools

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess students’ speech, language, and communication abilities using standardized tools
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy sessions and interventions
  • Participate actively in the IEP process, including collaborating with teachers and families
  • Document student progress and maintain compliance with district and state regulations
  • Support and educate school staff regarding student needs and effective communication strategies
  • Travel between 1-2 assigned elementary campuses (all in close proximity) as needed
