Qualifications and Experience
- Current and valid SLP-CCC licensure
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- State certification or eligibility for certification
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children is highly valued
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to perform assessments, develop IEPs, and provide direct therapy
- Organizational skills to manage caseloads across multiple schools
Key Responsibilities
- Assess students’ speech, language, and communication abilities using standardized tools
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy sessions and interventions
- Participate actively in the IEP process, including collaborating with teachers and families
- Document student progress and maintain compliance with district and state regulations
- Support and educate school staff regarding student needs and effective communication strategies
- Travel between 1-2 assigned elementary campuses (all in close proximity) as needed
