Speech-Language Pathologist in Franklin, TN
A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensed in Tennessee with TN teaching certification to provide specialized services in an elementary school setting. This position runs from the current school year start (ASAP) through the end of school year operations (ESOY) and involves working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Responsibilities include managing a small caseload of approximately 13 students directly, while providing services and IEP input for a total caseload of 20 students. The role focuses on supporting diverse speech and language needs, including working with three students utilizing AAC devices. Participation in IEP writing and meetings is also required to ensure compliance and individualized care.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license for Tennessee
- Tennessee teaching certification
- Experience with elementary-aged children
- Strong skills in caseload management, IEP documentation, and collaboration with educational teams
- Familiarity with AAC devices and varied speech and language challenges
