A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in North Las Vegas, NV, serving a K-12 school setting. This contract position spans the entire school year and involves working in person with a diverse group of approximately 40 students. The role offers the chance to provide essential speech and language support to children across all grade levels, from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Preferred candidates will hold their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and possess experience in school-based speech therapy. Strong communication skills, adaptability, and a passion for helping students develop their communication abilities are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group speech and language therapy services to K-12 students
- Conduct assessments and develop tailored treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working with school-age children, K-12
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment
