As a valued member of a collaborative team, you’ll deliver assessment, intervention, and ongoing support, working alongside teachers and other specialists to maximize student communication outcomes.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Active Texas SLP license from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (if applicable) or eligible CFY with supervisable hours
- Strong understanding of school-based service delivery and IEP process
- Bilingual or monolingual candidates will be considered
- Previous school-based experience preferred; seasoned CFY candidates are welcomed
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy for diverse caseloads (K–12), supporting approximately 80 students at one site (with SLPA support/supervision required), and 51 students at another site
- Conduct evaluations, develop and implement IEP goals, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Supervise an SLPA at one campus, ensuring quality support and adherence to service standards
- Maintain documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Communicate consistently with families, staff, and administrators to promote student achievement
This opportunity offers competitive compensation ($55–$67 per hour depending on experience) and a standard 40-hour work week.
