Make a meaningful impact in students’ lives as a Speech Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year. This contract position places you in vibrant educational settings, providing direct services to K-12 students across two campuses. As a valued member of a collaborative team, you’ll deliver assessment, intervention, and ongoing support, working alongside teachers and other specialists to maximize student communication outcomes.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Active Texas SLP license from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (if applicable) or eligible CFY with supervisable hours
  • Strong understanding of school-based service delivery and IEP process
  • Bilingual or monolingual candidates will be considered
  • Previous school-based experience preferred; seasoned CFY candidates are welcomed

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy for diverse caseloads (K–12), supporting approximately 80 students at one site (with SLPA support/supervision required), and 51 students at another site
  • Conduct evaluations, develop and implement IEP goals, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Supervise an SLPA at one campus, ensuring quality support and adherence to service standards
  • Maintain documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Communicate consistently with families, staff, and administrators to promote student achievement

This opportunity offers competitive compensation ($55–$67 per hour depending on experience) and a standard 40-hour work week. Enjoy a clearly defined academic calendar from August 12, 2026, through May 26, 2027, allowing for work-life balance and planned time off during school breaks. Credentialing is time-sensitive and will require prompt submission of your Texas license, ASHA certification (as applicable), and professional references.
